Global Analyses

Global strength analysis is performed  to obtain a reliable description of the overall hull girder stiffness and to calculate and assess the global stresses and deformations of all primary hull members for specified load cases resulting from realistic loading conditions and the wave-induced forces and moments.

Local Analyses and  Fatigue

In local analysis  limited part of the structure for example, foundation of equipment, crane, machinery subjected to static or dynamic concentrated loads are modeled with appropriate boundary conditions.

In addition, structure may fail under repeated cycling loadings. In order to assess fatigue life of weldment or any other critical details, we may need to carry out local stress analyses.

Our capabilities with fatigue design and assessment cover wide range of studies. Depending on your needs or requirements our fatigue design may be performed with simplified methods or full stochastic analysis where wave loads are transferred directly from the hydrodynamic model to the structural model.

Structural failure under the compressive loads can be predicted by finite element buckling analysis. In addition, in order to evaluate true safety margin of local structure or hull girder ultimate strength analysis will help to get intended results. 

Vibration analysis

Structural vibration becomes a great concern in design and construction of vessels. Excessive ship vibration is to be avoided for passenger comfort and crew habitability. Furthermore, excessive ship vibration may result in the fatigue failure of local structural members or breakdown of machinery and equipment.

Impact analysis
